The Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel is one of New York City's premiere venues for cabaret artists, a coveted location for performers for well over half a century. Among many lasting performers who began their careers in the Oak Room are Michael Feinstein and Harry Connick Jr. For the past five years, Scott at Acting Out Design has been the exclusive designer for all the publicity and show posters for all the performers appearing in the Oak Room. The following posters represent many of those produced over the years which were fashioned to highlight the unique characteristic of each artist.
